The Birchwood Apartments are a 58 unit section
8 housing facility, located in Eagle River, Alaska.
Occupied throughout construction, it was
fi nanced through 9% Alaska tax credits.
The exterior of the building received all new
siding, stairways, vapor barriers, and upgraded
ADA accessible pathways, as well as a new
roof and signage. Each unit received all new
kitchens, vanities, appliances, fl ooring, windows,
paint, closet doors, entry doors and hardware,
new electrical fi xtures. The parking lot was
resealed and restriped, including accessible
parking.
