An affordable senior housing community renovation with all new modernized interiors, upgraded building systems, amenities, and revitalized exterior.
Marple Manor, a 148-unit affordable senior housing community owned and operated by Retirement Housing Foundation, underwent a comprehensive, phased renovation while fully occupied. The project encompassed two five-story buildings and included extensive interior and exterior upgrades. The interior scope of work comprised the installation of modernized heating and cooling systems, new cabinetry and countertops, updated flooring and paint, contemporary plumbing and electrical fixtures (including showers and tubs), new entry doors with updated hardware, and energy-efficient appliances. Common areas were enhanced with new carpeting, fresh paint, and upgraded entry doors. Exterior improvements included the replacement of all windows and sliders, installation of a new PVC roofing system, and a fresh exterior paint application. Site enhancements featured updated landscaping, perimeter fencing, an ADA-compliant path of travel, parking lot improvements, and the addition of a new garden and barbecue area for resident recreation and enjoyment.
