Powell's Landing, a Homekey+ initiative developed by HOPE Cooperative, represents a transformative permanent supportive housing project aimed at serving the most vulnerable unhoused populations. This innovative undertaking involved the comprehensive rehabilitation of a formerly dilapidated 103 room Rodeway Inn, converting it into high-quality, permanent supportive housing. The interior renovations included the installation of kitchenttes into rooms previously without them, all-new paint, finishes, plumbing and light fixtures, and upgraded heating and cooling systems for each residence. The exterior scope of work included a new roof, new entry doors, fresh exterior paint, modernized stairwells and railings, revitalized landscaping, an improved parking lot, and enhanced security fencing around the property perimeter. Bullard Construction also constructed a Koi pond in the courtyard, pet areas, and a garden, which all add to the serenity of the revitalized space.
